Dr. Kevin J. E. Stepp serves as the Division Director of Urogynecology and Pelvic Surgery at Atrium
Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is double board-certified and is one of the only US surgeons who completed fellowships in both Urogynecology/Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS). He was in the first class of Board-Certified Urogynecologists in the country as well as being a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Performed the world's first-ever single-port total laparoscopic hysterectomy using a pioneering multichannel port for laparoscopy (Triport, Advanced Surgical Concepts, Dublin Ireland).
Performed the world's first single-surgeon, single-incision robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy.
