Dr. Stepp's Practice & Philosophy

Dr. Stepp's Practice

After finishing his residency, he dedicated himself to developing a robust surgical practice. Studies show that surgeons with more experience tend to achieve better results. He ensures his patients receive top-notch care by staying committed to innovation and education. Recognized as a thought leader, he has been invited to share his expertise at various educational events worldwide.

As a board certified urogynecologist, he has additional training and expertise in conditions that affect the female pelvic organs and the muscles and connective tissue that support those organs (including the vagina, uterus, bladder and rectum). Doctors often refer to a urogynecologist for urinary incontinence or when they suspect a problem with "the pelvic floor" or the muscles, ligaments, connective tissue and nerves that help support and control the bladder, uterus, vagina and rectum. Dr. Stepp specializes in repairing and returning the vagina and pelvic anatomy to its natural condition and appearance.

As a fellowship-trained MIGS surgeon, he also sees patients with complex gynecologic conditions who need surgery but want to minimize risk, complications, and recovery time. Even patients with the largest fibroids or difficult endometriosis excision surgeries, virtually all patients are treated with Outpatient Surgery and go home the same day.
